This is an amazing opportunity to help showcase some of the best picklers in Asia, as well as players from international countries, and provide some timely relief to everyone dealing with COVID-19's challenges.


Phuket, the beautiful island in Thailand beckons you to enjoy the sun, beach, food, tourist attractions, and of course, Pickleball smorgasbord with 16 sheltered pickleball courts at your disposal.


Phuket is Thailand's largest isle lingering on the country's southwest coast, kissed by the Listerine-green Andaman Sea. The interior is a lush jungly tangle; its 36 beaches a paint chart of creams and golds, with a capital city – Phuket Town – packed with character and cracking good street food.

Team Challenge

  • Maximum 14 teams and 2 International teams

  • Each team should have a min. 8 players, with min. 2 women in the team.

  • There is no cap limit for backup players.

  • Skills - no restrictions.

  • Age - 19+ (Open for everyone)

Team Challenge

Registration only by Team Captain, it is preferable but not compulsory to form a country team.  Those who can't form a team may register to join the International teams.

  1. Refund: Players will get full refund if withdrawal request is made at any time before 12 March 2022.

  2. AFP Discount: Contact your country tournament manager (see listing below) to check your AFP membership.

  1. Each player of Individual (Singles or Doubles) will receive a medal for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place.

  2. Team Challenge (Gold/Silver/Bronze) will receive max 10 medals per Team.

Tournament Conditions

  1. All participants must be 100% vaccinated.

  2. All must arrive 12 hours before tournament day (a) to perform RT-PCR test upon arrival at the airport, (b) take hotel's land transfer and (c) wait 2-12 hours in hotel room for result.  Only when you tested negative, you are free to move around without having to quarantine.  Based on travellers' past experiences, they receive the result within 3-5 hours, but that's not guaranteed.

  3. You must fly to Phuket from abroad. No transit in Bangkok.

  4. You must stay in a SHA+ accredited hotel in Phuket only.

  5. If you are staying less than 14 days in Phuket, you must fly out of Phuket to an international destination.

  6. If you are staying for 14 days or more in Phuket, you will then be able to travel to any domestic destination in Thailand.

  7. APO committee allows cancellation and get your participantion fees refunded. T&C applies.
