AFP Match Monitor / Trained Referee Workshop 11 - 12 Jul 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand

The AFP Referee & Match Monitor Certification Workshop is designed to develop knowledgeable, confident, and professional pickleball officials across Asia. Organized by the Asia Federation of Pickleball (AFP), the course equips participants with the skills and practical experience required to officiate matches at AFP-sanctioned tournaments.

This workshop combines classroom learning with on-court practical training, covering the responsibilities of Match Monitors, Line Judges, and Trained Referees. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of pickleball rules, score sheet procedures, match management, score calling, hand signals, fault identification, and live match officiating.

The program also provides a clear referee development pathway, allowing participants to progress from Match Monitor to AFP Trained Referee, Associate Referee, and eventually Principal Referee through assessments and tournament officiating experience.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive AFP certification based on their assessment results and officiating requirements.
